Know ye that Finis E. Cummings of Eddyville, State of Kentucky late Private in Co, C 2nd Regiment Kentucky Infty a Prisoner of War confined at this post, has this day subscribed and sworn to the Oath of Allegiance under the President's Proclamation of December 8th, 1863, and is hereby declared duly released by the authority of the President of the United States.
