Prison No. 3 M??? 64
Camp Cl?iaso Ohio Nov 13
My Dear Father,

Your welcome favor of 3 ?? is before me. I am glad to hear from home once more, and to hear that you are all well.

My health is very good better than when I wrote you last. All of your acquaintances at this place are well.

Erastus Nichols is in prison. No I have not heard from him in some time. I received the money that you sent. It was very acceptable. I needed it badly. Henry is well by this time I hope. I have no news to give you. I know nothing that is going on outside.

Why is it that none of my brothers or sisters do not write to me. I would like to hear from them all. You have no idea how much good it does me to receive a letter from home.

Give my love to mother and tell her not to grieve after me. I hope to be at home before a great while. Love to all write soon,

Yours affections??
