48. Rubie Wyatt Worley

Rubie was married several times after Ruby. One time was to his youngest son's girlfriend, and one time he got married by telephone. There were other children by later marriages. Rubie was a retired boilermaker with the Missouri Pacific Railroad.

R W Worley lived for a while with Besse Worley Littlepage and her husband Emery Virgil Littlepage. They went to court to have him live with them after R W got into some trouble.

Mrs. Bessie W. Littlepage, 79 of Rt 1 Pope, MS, died Tuesday afternoon at the
South Panola Hospital. Funeral Services will be held Friday morning at 10:00
a.m. from the W. F. Goff Funeral Home Chapel, Commerce Texas, with the Reverend
John M. Enochs, Pastor of the First Christian Church of Commerce, Texas
officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Mound Cemetery. Wells Funeral
Home of Batesville was in charge of local arrangements.

Mrs. Littlepage was the widow of the late Emery V. Littlepage. She was born
October 8, 1899 in the State of Texas. Her parents were the late George M.
Worley and Lady Clara Guinn Worley. Mrs. Littlepage was a member of the
Disciple of Christ Church.

She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Doyle L. Atchley, Pope; a sister Mrs. Bertha
McDonald, Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Fisherman Falls off Pier and Drowns
Emery Virgle Littlepage, 63, of Houston, drowned in Caney Creek below Sargent
late last night after he tumbled from a pier while fishing with friends.

Sargent is near Bay City.

Chief Bay City Sheriff's Deputy R.E. Graham said Mr. Littlepage had driven from
Houston with friends, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Doreck of 413 W. 10th.

The body was taken to Taylor Funeral Home in Bay City.
