Rubie was married several times after Ruby. One time was to his youngest son's girlfriend, and one time he got married by telephone. There were other children by later marriages. Rubie was a retired boilermaker with the Missouri Pacific Railroad.

Fisherman Falls off Pier and Drowns
Emery Virgle Littlepage, 63, of Houston, drowned in Caney Creek below Sargent
late last night after he tumbled from a pier while fishing with friends.Sargent is near Bay City.
Chief Bay City Sheriff's Deputy R.E. Graham said Mr. Littlepage had driven from
Houston with friends, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Doreck of 413 W. 10th.The body was taken to Taylor Funeral Home in Bay City.
