118. Lindsey Warfield

From "Founders of Anne Arundel County":
Lindsey Warfield entered the war of 1812, and was stationed in the Genessee Valley. He was engaged in the battle of Lundy's Lane. Pleased witht he country of that valley, he returned after the war, and settled there.

He was a druggist at Rushfield (NY? MD?)


125. Caleb Warfield II

The the early 1800's, Green and Hardin counties share a border in Kentucky. In 1804, parts of Hardin County became part of Green County.

From "Adventurers of Purse and Person": Milcah Davis (Ruth Gaither, John, John, John) married Caleb Warfield, son of Joshua and Ruth (Davis) Warfield, who moved to Montgomery Co, KY and later to Hardin Co., KY, where he married (2) (bond 11) June 1828, Leah (___) Barnett and left will 23 Dec 1835-15 Feb 1836 [Hardin Co Bk D pp 279-81]


154. Caleb Warfield III

Caleb appears as the only Warfield in Caldwell County in the 1850 census. He's listed as a brick mason, living in a hotel,age 40, and was born in Virginia. 1860 Lyon County census shows him as age 46, living with two other guys (Drake and Perkins) and born in KY. Also show his worth as 800-1620. There are MANY Caleb's. Maybe this one isn't the son of Caleb and Milcah. [maybe the son of Thomas?]

According to "Founders of Anne Arundel And Howard Counties (Maryland)", the children of Thomas and Margery Browne were Thomas, of "Good Hope" and Caleb Warfield, who removed to Kentucky.
