Wilie A Jones listened to a Caldwell county Revolutionary War Pension hearing in 1833.Caldwell County Kentucky Court Order Book E; 17 Apr 1837, a settlement of administration was granted to Olive Jones on the estate of Wiley Jones deceased of Caldwell County KY. James S Priest was security. One of the connections between this family and Willard C Town is the appearance of James S Priest. Priest and Parker sold the land to Willard. Priest was involved in the land sale of Willard Oliver Town's land in Ohio before Willard C Town moved to Kentucky. Appraisers: Hardy Freeman, M Freeman, Tinsley Harris & M.A. Rucker or 3 of them.

Their daughter Elizabeth (1810) was born in NC and later child Dawson W was born in KY (1820).

In the name of God Amen. I Drury Rogers of the County of Caldwell and State of Kentucky. Being very low in health but perfect in mind and memory thanks be given to God, Calling unto mind the mortality of my Body and Knowing it is appointed unto all men once to die Do make and ordain this my last will and Testament (viz) principally and first of all I give and Recommend my soul to the hands of almighty God that gave it and my Body I Recommend to the Earth to be Burried in decent Christian Buriel at the discretion of Executors. Nothing doubting but at the general Reseriction but [ ] [sic] shall Receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly Estate Wherein it has pleased God to Bless me with in this life, - I give demise [sic] and dispose of the same in the following manner or a part thereof that is my tract of land Whereon I now Reside I give to my Beloved Son William Johnson Rogers, that is, all the part that is not convered to Thos. Rogers and Portlock Hodge - the Second being to us [use?] and Benefit of my wife Frincus During her life or while she Remains my widow if she thinks proper to continue on it Whereunto I set my hand and Seal this 22d day of March in this year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and twenty three. On 6 Sept 1855, a Thomas J Jones married a Sarah N Barrett (age 20). They were married by Robert Pierce, JP, at house of Giles Barrett, sure: Giles Barrett, wit: Wm Robason and Dawson W Jones.
