2. Robert Holloway

Robert "Sr" signed for Lucy's wedding in 1839. This Robert could be Robert Sr, and his son could be a younger Robert.
1820 Sumner County TN census: Nathaniel Holloway males 000001 females 00001; Robert Holloway males 110010 females 62010. If this is Robert, according to the census, he would have been between 26 and 45 years old in the 1820 census.

In 1812, Robert and Elizabeth were in Halifax County Virginia, where they sold land to Posey Alexander.

The only Holloway in the 1820 Caldwell Co KY census is:

According to Caldwell County KY census figures:

1840: 2 0 0 0 0 0 1 1 1 0 0 0 1 (2 males 0-5; 1 male 40-50; 1 female 0-5; 1 female 5-10 & 1 female 30-40)

In the 1850 census, James H McCollum, age 13, is living with Pleasant Holloway and his wife Nancy, and William McCollum age 16 is living with Ginsey Holloway (widow of James H) and Elizabeth McCollum age 18 is living with John Blick and his wife Clarinda. Are these the children of Betsy? According to a death record for Clarinda, her maiden name was Calloo, so she wasn't a Holloway.

There is also a marriage listed for a Samuel McCollum to Matilda Kuykendall with a bond date of 8 Jul 1813. Reuben Martin (who raised the girl) gave his consent for the marriage. It was stated that she had no living parents. I don't know if this is the same Samuel or not.


9. Susan Holloway

Robert Holloway was security for the marriage bond.

The 1840 Caldwell county census shows only the following Bloodworth's:

His name is listed in a letter provided by Vicki Stewart, written by King David Holloway. He said that Dickie never married.
