From Connie Fields: Richard Gibson Grogan stated that he was born at Rome, Floyd Co. GA. He was born 1822 and married Elizabeth Frances Graham who said she was born Chattooga Co. GA. Richard is the son of Henry (b 1796) and Thomas b abt 1760-70 whose wife was Rachel. [note from Debbie: Floyd County did not exist in 1822. What became Floyd county, was part of Cherokee Land in 1822, so this information is in question.]
