I don't see James F Hall in the 1870 census, and I don't see a marriage record for him. Did he die before the 1870 census, or did he marry and/or move to another county/state?
Sarah Pearcy Gray. In Lyon Cemetery book, pg 252. Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Sarah is the widow of Garrett (3) Gray. She died before James P Hall. Both her parents were born in NC.
According to Kay Humphries, this Sarah Pearcy is the same person as Sarah Pearcy who was the second wife of James Patrick Hall. According to "Lyon County Marriage Records 1854-1874" by McDonald, When Sarah Pearcey married Garret Gray, it was his third marriage, he was 75 and it was her first marriage at the age of 37. It also states that she was from Lyon County and both of her parents were born in NC.
