103. Sarah Amanda Oliver
A family bible lists her birth year as 1854.
28. Susan Gray
A will of a John P Gray 23 Mar 1844 from Caldwell County will book B lists a wife Elizabeth, children: John P, Nancy, Isaac, Polly Hall and Susan Holloway. Did this Susan marry a Bowland first, and then a Holloway? I have not found a record of the Holloway marriage. One internet source says she married Edmund Holloway, but I don't see a record of that.
From: "Caldwell County, KY Marriages 1809-1832" by Jerome:
Bowland, John and Susan Gray
Married 6 Nov 1817 by Henry Darnall. (bond 3 Nov 1817) Sec: John P Gray. Parents were both present and consented. In the same book was: Boland, James and Margarett Jones
Married 23 Oct 1817 by A H Davis, JP. (bond 21 Oct 1817) Sec: John Jones, father of Margarett Jones, who came forward and gave his consent. Man of age. There were several Boland, Bouland's, Bourland's and Bowland's in the same book.
In the 1820 Caldwell Census, there is listed the following Boland's:
Boland John 0001-201
Bowland James 030401-12201
Bowland Reuben 1001-0001The only Holloway in the 1820 Caldwell Co KY census is:
Holloway, John 0111-01
in the 1820 Craven Co NC Census, there is an Edmund Holloway: 100011-000002 (this doesn't look like the same Edmund, since he wouldn't have had any daughters to get married in the mid-1820's)

In that case, why does Susan show up as head of household in the 1830 and 1840 census?
John Bouland was security for the wedding of Alsey Fowler and Robert Harper 18 Feb 1822.
From "Western KY Journal" Spring 1996, Page 14, Miscellaneous Agreements Caldwell Co KY (Rough Bundles, Caldwell Co, Courthouse): 16 Oct 1847: Whereas Nathan GRAY and his wife Lydia G GRAY of Caldwell Co KY did on the 2nd day of Sep 1847 by an Instrument of writing, recorded in the Clerk's office in Deed Book N, page 251, for causes and considerations therein set forth, agree and declare that they would not longer remain and live together as man and wife and did by that instrument make a division of their property. Whereas since that time a reconciliation and a new order of things has taken place between them, and GRAY and wife having now thought better of it, they do mutually agree with each other to annul and make void the sd. instrument and articles of separation... to the same extent as though the same had never been executed. And they do hereby pledge themselves to each other that they will henceforth faithfully and affectionately discharge their several duties as husband and wife, and endeavor to live for the sake of themselves and their children int he affectionate and tender relation of husband and wife the remainder of their days. /s/ Nathan GRAY, Lydia G (X) GRAY. 29. Polly Gray
In the 1880 census, Ford C Hall shows that his mother was born in VA.
Most of the information on the children of Mary Polly Gray and John C Hall has come to me from Kay Humphreys Dias. She states that the Nathan O Gray who married Mildred and then Mary Hall was the son of Nathan O and Elizabeth Fowler Gray. She then states that Caroline Hall was the daughter of Nathan O and Lydia Green (Gray) Gray. I think there is some confusion about the Nathans, but I haven't done the research to sort it out yet.
