Obituary for Mrs Leveda Farless :
Funeral services for Mrs. Leveda M. Farless, 410 S. Jefferson St. Princeton will be conducted Wed. Jan 14 1981 at 1pm at Morgan's Funeral Home with Rev Dr. Bill Tichenor officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cem.
Mrs. Farless died Sunday Jan 11 at 7:45 pm at Parkview Convalescent Center, Paducah, after a long illness. She was 80.
She was born July 6 1900 in Lyon Co. the daughter of William Milton (notice spelling) and Cynthia Parrent Milton.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Princeton.
Her husband Dawsie B. Farless preceded her in death on Dec. 1 1970 (he is also buried in Cedar Hill)
Survivors include one son Billy Joe Farless Princeton one daughter Mrs. Lanis C. (Wanda) Cunningham Paducah.Three sisters Mrs Nina Barber , Paducah Mrs. Tylene Magocs, Lincoln Park MI. Mrs. Magdalene Towery Greenbriaar Tn. : six grand children and one great grandson.
Pallbearers were Gary Cunningham, Mark Cunningham, Joe Farless, Jerry Farless, Vernon Taylor and Steve Lewis.

136. David Talmage Parrent

David was a farmer in Saratoga Community until1940 when he and his wife moved to Belleville, Illinois and he worked for Montgomery Outdoor Advertising Company. He was an avid gardner. He planted a garden every year. He was a Mason for fifty years. He died of a stroke.

Obituary:
He was preceded in death by a son Larry Edward Parrent, a retired naval commander; a sister, Beatrice Parrent, and four brothers, Earl, and Henry, Paul and a Edward Parrent.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Parrent; a daughter, Jeanine Huber; two sons, Glenn Parrent of Billings, Montana, and Charles Parrent of O'Fallon, Ill.; five grandchildren, Siri and Leah Parrent to of Ridgecrest, Calif., David Parrent of Ferguson, Missouri, Amanda Huber of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Ricky Parrent of Belleville, Ill.; two sisters, Mary Williamson and Mollie Yates, both of Eddyville; two nieces and nephew.
Funeral services were held Friday morning February 14th at Kurris Funeral Home in Belleville, Ill.. Burial was an Belleville also.


Virginia Payne

Virginia married Talmadge in Saratoga and lived on the family farm until 1951. She and Talmadge moved to Belleville in 1951 and together had four children. Today (2003) she lives in Riversbend Retirement Community in Kuttawa, KY.

EDDYVILLE, Ky. — Virginia Parrent, 87, of Hermitage, Tenn., formerly of Lyon County, died Thursday at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage.

Mrs. Parrent was a homemaker and a member of St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church in Belleville, Ill.

She is survived by two sons, Charles S. Parrent of O’Fallon, Ill., and Glenn H. Parrent of Las Vegas; one daughter, Jeannine Huber of Nashville, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Talmage Parrent; and two brothers. Her parents were George Payne and Ruby Arnold Payne.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lakeland Funeral Home in Eddyville, with the Rev. Steve McVay officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville.

Mrs. Virginia Parrent, 87, of Hermitage, Tenn., and formerly of Lyon County, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, in Summitt Medical Center in Hermitage, Tenn.

A graduate of Old Kuttawa High School, Mrs. Parrent was a homemaker and member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church in Belleville, Ill., where she was active in school and church activities.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, David Talmage Parrent, whom she married in Lyon County; her parents, George Payne and Ruby Arnold Payne; and two infant brothers.

Survivors include two sons, Charles S. Parrent of O’Fallon, Ill., and Glenn H. Parrent of Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Jeannine Huber of Nashville, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 6, at 10 a.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home Chapel in Eddyville. The Rev. Steve McVay will officiate the services.

Interment will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, Ill.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday at the funeral home.


Lilburn Yates

Lilburn was killed in WWII per Mildred Tandy. Tombstone in Saratoga Cemetery says: PFC, WWII, died in South Pacific. He died before their child was born.
