Paducah, KentuckyEddyville, Ky., July 6, Elwood Gray, 76, died at 10:55 a.m. today at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary E. Cummins, two sons, R.C. and Jack Gray, of Eddyville, three daughters, Mrs. Minos Williamson of Evansville, Mrs. Noble Gray of Fredonia, and Mrs. Arthur Towne of Tallahassee FL., a sister Mrs. Mattie Prince of Evansville, 14 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. friday at Friendship Methodist Church in Lyon County. Burial will be in the church cemetery
From 17 Aug 1903, Lyon County Criminal Court Record: Elwood Gray was fined $10 for running a horse on the highway. Fred Gray was fined $20 on 18 Aug 1903 for "disturbing religious worship" in the same source.

Surviving are three sons, Jim Noble Cummins, Lamasco; Finis Cummins Jr., Lexington; and Dale W. Cummins, Fort Jackson, South Carolina; a sister, Mrs. Annie Nabb, Paducah; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Last rites were held Sunday at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Wallis Gray and the Rev. James N. Dill officiating.
Interment was in Friendship Cemetery, Lyon County, Ky.
