A child of Mary Howard and Owen Howard was Martha Howard (born before 1826). (Per Quenton Cummins); census shows; America Howard bc 1829, Bartlett G (bc 1834). Owen Howard in 1830 census, but doesn't show up after that.
31 Aug 1841, Chittenden Armstrong married Mrs. Mary Howard in Caldwell County Kentucky. (dates don't match up with birth date of Mary Francis Armstrong Gray).

(A John Barnett was married to Leah Howard, a sister to Owen Howard (first husband of Mary Polly Howard). (Tarlton was an uncle to James Mordida Gray, the husband of Mary Francis Armstrong).
